Addressing Collective Conflict Through Narrative Approaches
Life in a group often leads to tensions. Stories of conflict threaten a group’s sense of identity and cohesion. The challenge: to rebuild this collective identity while respecting the uniqueness of each member of the community.
Come experience an innovative and respectful way to address these collective conflict situations without anyone feeling singled out as the problem. This approach is applicable to organizations, public institutions, schools, families, and any other community.

Learning Objectives:
This seminar will help you acquire innovative techniques such as the use of metaphor, framing questions, the witness stance, and other narrative principles.
You will be able to use narrative ideas to:

Identify the underlying narratives at play in group conflict situations.

Bringing to light the effects of conflicts on individuals and groups.

Mobilizing narrative ideas in facilitation to foster the emergence of collective values.

Prerequisites:
No technical prerequisites. Professional experience in facilitating group settings is recommended. This training does not require prior certification in Narrative Practices.

Teaching methods:
This training is highly interactive. Short theoretical segments alternate with practical exercises, case studies, narrative questioning exercises, and the development of metaphorical thinking. Examples of practical application will be provided.
We have ensured that all the ideas and concepts reviewed and explored during this training are theorized and modeled so that you can easily implement them in your daily professional life.
Assessment methods:
Assessment of learning takes place throughout the training via case studies, practical exercises, and reflective analysis sessions. A self-assessment is offered at the end of the training to allow participants to identify the skills they have developed and areas for improvement.
